The Route

Our recommended 10-day island-hopping circuit covers four main islands, balancing wildlife, diving, hiking, and authentic local culture.

Days 1 – 3
Santa Cruz — Base Camp
Arrive into Baltra, transfer to Santa Cruz. Visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, snorkel at Las Grietas, and explore the highlands to find giant tortoises roaming free.

Day 4
Española — Oldest Island
Day trip to the oldest island. Walk alongside sea lions, Nazca boobies, and waved albatross colonies. Snorkel at the stunning Gardner Bay.

Days 5 – 7
Isabela Island — Volcanoes & Penguins
Ferry to the largest island. Hike Sierra Negra volcano, kayak through mangroves, and spot the world's only equatorial penguins at Punta Moreno.

Days 8 – 9
Fernandina — Pristine & Untouched
The youngest and most active island. Permit-only access to see marine iguanas, flightless cormorants, and Galápagos hawks in a truly untouched landscape.

Return to Santa Cruz — Final Dive
