Singapore

We gave Singapore two days as a stopover. Classic mistake. Two days became five and we still didn't scratch the surface. This city does everything at once and somehow does all of it brilliantly — hawker centres serving the best laksa of our lives at midnight, rooftop bars with skylines that look CGI, gardens that genuinely shouldn't exist but absolutely do. It's clean and chaotic and endlessly surprising in equal measure. We walked until our feet gave up, ate until we couldn't, then found somewhere extraordinary for dessert anyway. Singapore doesn't feel like a stopover. It feels like the main event that everyone keeps accidentally skipping. Don't skip it.
